Covers In Crack Alley: Matt Pryor Delivers “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” (FILTER Exclusive)

Behind the FILTER Magazine offices in Los Angeles—among the stray cats, dirty dumpsters and occasional syringes—you may also find FILTER friends performing some of their favorite covers. Ladies and gentleman, we give you Covers in Crack Alley.

For our first video of the Covers in Crack Alley series, we invited Matt Pryor of The Get Up Kids to stop by our sketchy alley and perform a holiday classic of his choice. Think of it as his little present to you all. Nothing says Happy Holidays like the sun shining, occasional dump truck interruption and a lone man singing “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” in an alley.

And for a little more info on Matt Pryor's forthcoming solo album May Day, which arrives January 24, or his upcoming "Where's The Band?" Tour, click here.

And for your viewing pleasure, here are some behind the scenes photos of the shoot. Note Matt Pryor's son helping his dad out with holding the lyrics. Just in case.
