WATCH: Rufus Wainwright Previews Mark Ronson-Produced Album, “Out of the Game”

Rufus Wainwright is gearing up to release his seventh studio album, Out of the Game, which will hit U.S shelves on May 1st via Decca. The Mark Ronson-produced album, will be supported with world-wide tour dates, including select U.S. live dates confirmed for May. (Dates listed below.)

This year is undoubtably an exciting one for the Grammy nominated singer/songwriter as Wainwright's long awaited opera Prima Donna debuted at BAM in Brooklyn, NY on February 19th.  This is being followed by a video shoot in London for the album's title track, Out of the Game.   Both Wainwright and Ronson consider the forthcoming album to be a labor of love.  Wainwright says Out of the Game is "the most pop album I've ever made," while Ronson states, "it's the best work of my career."
