WATCH: Talkdemonic Explore ‘Ruins’ (FILTER Exclusive)

Portlanders Kevin O'Connor and Lisa Molinaro are Talkdemonic. Currently signed to Glacial Pace Recordings, these two have been known to crossover the bounderies of percussion and analog sounds, stirring up what is the distinctive gritty and textured tunes. Having released their latest, Ruins, back in October 2011, Talkdemonic shed some light on their busy work with this film, a FILTER Exclusive. Directed by Brian Vernor, this short reel canned impression from first sight. Vernor first encountered Portland's Talkdemonic their Cafe Du Nord show in San Francisco, leaving with a great impression of the set and band themselves. Entering the band's world of the "practice space" allowed this project to conceptualize itself as a dream-like visitation on what this rock duo tinker and tweak everyday.
