Ever wonder what some Built To Spill songs would sound like as 80's synth-pop jams? Me neither. On the other hand, since BTS's leader Doug Martsch and bassist Brett Nelson covered a few of their tunes in the 80's style, I am now a bit intrigued.
The duo is releasing the seven song project under the name The Electronic Anthology Project and will be available through CD Baby and at Built To Spill shows.
You can hear three of these covers over at The Electronic Anthology Project's Myspace.
Track List:
I Dim Our Angst In Agony (Goin' Against Your Mind)
Age I Felt (Get a Life)
At the Where (The Weather)
Eels (Else)
What If Your Dull (I Would Hurt a Fly)
A Gloss Siren (Israel's Song)
Far Path Tall Sign (Things Fall Apart)
