Sometimes the only way to move on from a relationship is to overdose on the good stuff and leave the rest behind—like our relationship with 2009. To end the year right, we are posting a guest artist’s top 10 list of the albums of the year each day this December.
Divulging his choice picks of 2009 is Van Pierszalowski, founder of indie-folk band Port O'Brien. Apart from touring the West Coast with indie-pop outfit and fellow California native Papercuts and being featured in FILTER, Port O'Brien released its second studio album, the acoustic-driven Threadbare, in October. Like good, amiable tourmates, Pierszalowski couldn't help but include Papercuts in his list detailing the best of 2009.
