The end of a year inevitable brings about reflection, celebration, and top 10 lists. As we enter into the last weeks of 2009, FILTER has taken part in all three end-of-the-year rituals by presenting not only the staff's personal favorites and the magazine's best reviewed Albums of the Year, but also letting guests artists give their expert opinions on what 2009 albums deserve to be recognized as the best of the best.

Singer-songwriter VV Brown, who works under the alias "Geeki," had quite the year in 2009 as an emerging pop artist, model and actress. But even with her busy schedule, Brown caught up with FILTER to give us her favorite top 10 albums from this year.
