Karen O Snags Grammy Nomination

In a victory for hipsters everywhere, Yeah Yeah Yeahs chanteuse Karen O and her fantastic Where The Wild Things Are soundtrack have snagged a grammy nomination at the expense of Disney juggernaut Miley Cyrus. The Karen O and Nick Zinner penned single "All Is Love" recieved a nomination in the Best Song Written for a Soundtrack category, after Cyrus' contribution to the Hannah Montana Soundtrack was deemed ineligible because it was not written specifically for the film in which it appeared.

The 2010 Grammy Awards will be telecast on January 31 2010.
