Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Announces New Inductees

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced its list of inductees for 2010, which include the likes of The Stooges, ABBA, Genesis, The Hollies, and Jimmy Cliff. The Stooges have been eligible for induction for over fifteen years, and have been rejected nearly seven times.

Nonperformer inductees include David Geffen and songwriters Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil, Elle Greenwich, Jeff Barry, Jesse Stone, Mort Shuman and Otis Blackwell.

They will be officially inducted on March 15th at the Waldorf Astoria in New York.
