Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings have added new dates to their already-extensive North American tour to promote their new album, I Learned the Hard Way, which will be out April 6.
Often thought of as revitalists of traditional sixties/seventies funk and soul music, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings recorded this album entirely on an Ampex eight-track tape machine with independent label Daptone Records as opposed to using modern digital recording methods.
